Biography
Michael Jordan was raised in Wilmington, North Carolina and developed his love for basketball while playing against his brother Larry although his original passion lied with baseball. He later then tried out for the varsity team his sophomore year but was unfortunately cut. After tireless work he eventually made the team and became a McDonalds All American. Michael Jordan would then play college basketball for North Carolina University winning two NCAA titles, ACC Freshman of the Year, and a Naismith College player of the year award. Michael then was drafted third by the Chicago Bulls.
